Weight Loss and Protein Supplements
Monday, May 9th, 2011Losing weight was always a challenge for me. I knew that eating a healthy diet and exercising was important, but I still struggled with losing weight. I started a cycle of losing weight and then gaining it back again. It was very frustrating and I seriously considered giving up on trying to lose weight, until I decided to try protein supplements. Protein is an essential nutrient that is needed for energy production and regulation of the body’s fluid balance. My diet consisted of beans, lean meats and nuts, but I wanted to increase my intake of protein by taking supplements. I am glad that I did because that helped expedite the process of losing weight.
